Design Services
For Architects and Engineers, we offer concept plans for
commercial sites and engineering services licensed in over 40 states.
For the home owner or do it yourselfer we also offer
design and "Sketch Up" Services:"
Send us some photos and your scale plot plan indicating what you want
shaded. We will produce 3D concept sketches in "Google Sketch Up"These
3D drawings can be viewed using different date and time settings to
accurately determine where the shade will actually fall at a certain
time and date..
**Google 3-D Design services
start at $250 per design and can be arranged by e

**This is not engineering services (showing footing
details fixings etc.) that are available for additional cost and may be
required by your local permitting agency.**

We have some stock engineering plans
for either a 20' or 15'
hyperbolic parabola based structures.
plans are available with either single hyperbolic shape or a
chain (multiples) of them. These plans are
suitable for getting permits
in most States and have been
prepared by a licensed structural engineer. They include
drawings, calculation package and are "wet stamped". $750 e-mail us for details.

Fixing tensioning hardware.. all you need to fix the sail to the posts

Our company can provide complete design/build
services including conceptual drawings, shop drawings, engineering, and
construction. We work with Individual property owners,
Architects, Landscape Architects, Designers, Contractors, and
Developers, and can provide assistance at any stage of a project,
including help with initial proposals. Or where applicable, we
can provide sails custom fabricated to your design specifications.
Sails can often be attached to existing structures or "hard
points" can be engineered into a buildings prior to construction.
Where this is impossible or undesirable, steel, concrete, or wood
columns can be used as supports. Additionally, we
have designed several brackets and methods for attaching sails to
accommodate nearly any situation, and we can fabricate and install
steel columns as needed.
Pricing for large commercial projects start at about $22 per
sq. ft and probably averages about $28 per sq. ft. A
backyard patio comes in about $4,500.
