         Shade Sails' Platypus Art Gallery
            Now open next to the Theater in Uptown Whittier is a new art Gallery with an eclectic selection of quality art pieces.
            The gallery currently features: original paintings, metal sculptures, unique hand made lamps and jewelry.  Almost every
            piece is a one of a kind original. This mixture of different art forms means there is something for everyone and like a
            Platypus is a mixture of dissimilar but unique parts.

            Also featured are displays of "Shade Sails".  These are tensioned fabric canopies similar in form to a sailboat's sails that
            can be stretched between posts, building or trees to provide a shady retreat almost anywhere.  Shade Sails LLC has
            been based here in Uptown Whittier for nearly 5 years and for the first time now has a showroom to demonstrate our                       product as well as share our appreciation of the arts.

            We also rent wall and floor space for artists to dsplay their work..  
            Spaces start at $100/mo plus a 20% commision..
